I have been trying to see this movie for several weeks now, more out of curiosity than a genuine excitement. It wasn’t a movie I had been eagerly anticipating, nor did I expect it to be a superb piece of cinema, but I was interested to see how it would be play out – and I did think it would be at least slightly better than similar movies which have come out recently. Overall, it met my expectations.

At the risk of repeating myself for the hundredth time, Marvel movies have been in a massive slump lately.

Sure, they are still making good money for the most part, but ever since their Infinity Saga ended in 2019, it has been painfully obvious that the goal has been to capitalize on the brand as much as possible.

This has resulted in many movies and shows being released in a short amount of time- bringing in as many new characters as possible, at the cost of quality, continuity and, well, just about everything.

As a result, the plot of this film suffers, despite being significantly better.
