A Track-by-Track Analysis and Review of Jady’s “Napalm”

In the fall of 2023, the band Jady released their sophomore album entitled “Napalm,” which continued and expanded upon the conceptual world building which they had introduced in The Haze, while also presenting a fresh and matured sound in their music.

Another aspect of this album, which I quite enjoy, but which isn’t an element to most albums, are the smooth transitions between many of the songs, with one song leading seemlessly into the next. The only exception to this is found at the end of “Wallow,” which only neatly transitions into “Ghostman.” If played separately from the album it ends very jarringly.

If you have not yet listened to this body of work, I hope this video will encourage you to.
