Gladiator II | Film Friday
I went into the theater to watch this film hoping, but not believing, that it could do two things: prove itself to be a worthy sequel to a classic film made 20 some years ago, and be a good film in and of itself. This film almost succeeded in one of these aspects and completely failed in the other.
The story of this film is – well, it’s quite similar to the story of the original Gladiator, but much more convoluted.
