During an interview that was conducted during Tyler Joseph’s performance with Q101 (which was recently released on YouTube but was actually recorded back in October) Tyler revealed two things that are very interesting and significant.

First of all, as many suspected, the end of the Paladin Strait music video is not the end of the story because there’s another end which he has in mind, which he’s still working on.

Which leads us to the second thing, the fact that he’s still finalizing and working out the details for how the story is going to end.

Now there’s two reasons why this may be.

One, he’s had the plot, the outline for the story all along from the beginning and so there is an ending which he’s had for the past 10 years – but the exact specific details of it have not been quite worked out yet, because he’s still working on writing that scene.

But, two, perhaps he hasn’t known exactly how it is going to end. Or perhaps they had an ending which they scrapped and are reworking and rewriting.

Either way, it is interesting to hear direct confirmation that Paladin Strait was not the end of the story and also to know that they are still working on the story.
