In 2022, the band Jady released their debut album entitled “The Haze,” which introduced listeners both to their music and the conceptual world which they were building. In this video, I will walk through and review the album in its entirety.
Throughout this entire album we can see that there is this theme of fantasy vs. reality being explored.
Ultimately, it is always much better to pursue reality and the truth – even if you might find that truth to be unpleasant.
The Haze is excellent album as a whole, despite a few weaker songs towards the middle. Lyrically really well done, exploring interesting and compelling themes and ideas in a clear and thoughtful way, that manages to not become on the nose. And a great narrative introduction to the world of “The Haze.”
